Bei dem Performance-Abend DROP ZONE bespielt Frédéric Krauke die fünf Räume der vorderen Galerie des HaL mit einem eigens für diesen Anlass konzipierten szenischen Zyklus. Jeder der fünf Räume steht dabei für einen Zustand einer allegorischen Evolution des Menschen, die in einem letztlich visionären Stadium endet :
PARADISE – DOOM – FALL – PURIFICATION – NEO PLASMA
Bei dieser Performance verschwimmen die Grenzen zwischen Inszenierung und Wirklichkeit, zwischen dem Symbolischen und dem Existenziellen. Was ist der Mensch? Aus was besteht er? Ist er zum Spiegel, zur Projektion von Emotionen, Ängsten und Träumen geworden?
Frédéric Krauke verfügt als Performance-Künstler über eine mehrjährige Erfahrung. In seinen Aktionen reflektiert er das politische und gesellschaftliche Zeitgeschehen. Durch die gefühlte Ohnmacht über das Bestehende entwickelt er Szenarien, die insbesondere die Empathie der Betrachtenden herausfordern.
Die Grundelemente dieser Performance sind die unmittelbaren Handlungen des Akteurs in Resonanz live gespielter Musik, verbunden mit dem Einsatz von digitalen Projektionen. Die Interaktion und die emotionale Bewältigung des Geschehens durch das Publikum sind integrale Bestandteile des Geschehens.
Bei DROP ZONE wird Frédéric Krauke durch ein ihm vertrautes Team aus Musikern, Künstlern, Technikern und Helfern unterstützt.

English: At the DROP ZONE performance evening, Frédéric Krauke will use all five rooms of HaL's front gallery to present a cycle of scenes he developed especially for this occasion. Each of the five rooms stands for one state in mankind's allegorical evolution ending up at an ultimately visionary stage:
PARADISE – DOOM – FALL – PURIFICATION – NEO PLASMA
Boundaries become blurred at this performance - between what is staged and what is real, between what is symbolic and what is existential. What are human beings? What are they made of? Have they become mirrors, projections of emotions, fears and dreams?
Frédéric Krauke can look back on many years of experience as a performance artist. He reflects on current political and societal events in his actions. He transforms feelings of being powerless in the face of what is happening around him into scenarios intended in particular to challenge viewers' empathy.
The immediate actions of the player in tune with music played live and accompanied by digital projections are the basic elements of this performance. Interaction and how the audience emotionally copes with what they are witnessing are integral components of the performance.
A team of musicians, artists, technicians, and helpers familiar to the artist will support Frédéric Krauke during DROP ZONE.

UNGEMÜTLICH is a set of performances related by:
1. the theme: UNCOMFORTABLE
2. general ideas of body, empathy, and contemporarily
3. the individuality of the place of the event
4. the general work of the other participants
Each artist is performing his/her work/media but on the edges, in the periphery, the beginnings and the ends of the different works merge together. The end of the previous is also the beginning of the following. The visual aspect of one work, links into the other, as the music might do too. The bodies can switch. The participants of the event are invited to work together and communicate with each other. There are no breaks between the performances, no announcements of a supervising person. Overall, the different performances become each a chapter of a story, that will be told just ones – at the evening of this event- and it might become uncomfortable.

Eine gegliederte Form der Performance und die Verzahnung unterschiedlicher Medien und Präsentationsformen sind Mittelpunkt der Auseinandersetzung der beteiligten Künstler/innen von UNGEMÜTLICH. Die Einschränkungen, ausgehend von einer gemeinsamen Nutzung eines begrenzten Raumes und begrenzter Ressourcen, werden von ihnen als Herausforderung und Perspektive für individuelle Interpretationen und Interaktionen verstanden.
Im Kern ist jeder sich selbst - in der Peripherie treffen sie aufeinander.
